a note from mark

Hello Family!
Unfortunately, the weather has not cooperated for us this weekend and we are not able to gather this Sunday, December 2. I have decided to go ahead and make this call, even if the rain holds off tomorrow, due to safety concerns with the ground being wet and also temporary residual left over from all of the debris that has been moved around this week.
HOWEVER, we will not have to deal with this for much longer! After much incredible hard work from our staff and some tremendous folks from The Rock of Arkansas and others from our house, we have completely gutted the old preschool building and have already gotten a new roof put on it. We are now in the process of remodeling it as quickly as possible to have a covered, heated and cooled place for us to gather in while renovations are being done in the main sanctuary and gymnasium.

This is HUGE. So many churches are being forced to gather in schools and hotels or rented spaces while they recover from the destruction of the storm. I believe it is important for us to gather on that significant ground we all love, and soon, we will be able to do that rain or shine.
I am so encouraged and excited about where we are as a family. I love the sweet presence and powerful authenticity that it is so obviously present in our gatherings since the storm. As Benjamin spoke to us about last week, let’s continue to set Yahshua as our focal point and let Him, by the power of Holy Spirit, lead this family into the greater glory. The gateway is Thankfulness and we are being guided through it in the most beautiful way.

In this wilderness, I have seen the most breathtaking sunsets, found peace in the stillness, and the depth of the simplicity. Everything means so much and has so much significance. Yahweh is in all of this and is showing us His glory (goodness).
I love you all so much and can’t wait to gather with you again next week!

“Here’s the one thing I crave from God, the one thing I seek above all else:
I want the privilege of living with him every moment in his house, finding the sweet loveliness of his face, filled with awe, delighting in his glory and grace.
I want to live my life so close to him
that he takes pleasure in my every prayer.”
